Getting air quality data

Fri Sep 21, 2018 6:52 pm

Hi everybody,

I bought an air quality click sensor recently (https://www.mikroe.com/air-quality-click), and I want to connect it to my Raspberry Pi 3 model B. I have a Pi 3 click shield (https://www.mikroe.com/pi-3-click-shield) to make the assembly, but I haven't been able to read the air quality data from the sensor on my python code, because I tried with an example code that I found (https://gist.github.com/yoggy/7096133), and I'm still getting zeros (0000, or 0.0, or 0.00, etc.) in all outputs.

I wonder if you please can help me with this project.

Thanks and best regards.

I cannot check the device at the moment (blocked at my work),
But some pictures of your setup wiring and anything you tried did for setup (raspi-config ?) and you part of the python code for that module?

That'll help other see what you have tried.
At the moment it could be bad wiring, not setup the ports, python error...

Have you asked MikroElektronika? They should probably support their boards.

These air quality sensors can be difficult about power and calibration. Some of them need considerable time to start up.
