automatic rabbit feeder clock

Tue Jul 10, 2018 8:46 am

I was wondering how to make a timer that uses the raspberry pi zero w to feed my rabbit at a set time (say 9:00 AEDT) using motors and PBC pipes.
Notes:
It doesn't have to connect to wifi
It will always be on
Its USB port is dead

Hi.

if you pi is not going to be connected to the internet you will need to add a real time clock to set the time on start up, as the pi normally gets it time from the internet.

there are lots of examples of people feeding pets using a pi on the web.

some examples

https://storiknow.com/automatic-cat-fee ... pberry-pi/

these will give you some ideas on how to go about it.
