Can seeed Grove-Dust Sensor connect directly to raspberry Pi 3

Dear All,

I have a project about measure dust 2.5 and I use "seed Grove - Dust Sensor(PPD42NS)". Can I directly connect this sensor to raspberry pi3?

According to the data sheet, the output is high over 4v (probably nearer 5v as that's what's it's powered from )and low below 0.7v

So no you can't just connect the output to the pi gpio as the gpio is only 3.3 v and is not 5v tolerant you will need to level shift the output signal down to 3.3v
