Alexa (installed on the same rpi) to control relay on RPI 3B

Fri May 18, 2018 9:07 am

I managed to install Alexa on my Raspberry Pi 3B. It isn't a big task. I even added a few skills using the android app. Now what I wish to do next is to control the relay board connected to my Raspberry Pi with the Alexa that is installed on the same Pi. I can't seem to find it anywhere, all i am able to find is controlling the relay using an Echo Dot (or any other model of Alexa).

I don't know from Alexa but all you have to do is make it control a GPIO pin. If Alexa can issue commands to the RPi, it is trivial. Use GPIO commands. If not, maybe another can help.
