Raspberry pi powered minuter lifting device?

I am making a car powered by the raspberry pi. I would like to add some form of lifting device to it, preferably controlled via python. It would have to be able to lift at least 75grams of materials at a time in order for the lifting device to be worthwhile.

I would be grateful for some suggestions towards what sort of items I would need and how I could/should assemble them.

Many Thanks.

That's a bit of an open question.

depends on what it is you want to lift how you are going to grab it, claw, magnetic pick up etc......

are you going to use a multi function arm or a simple crane type device..........

how big is your platform..........

the list could probably go on but this should give you some thing to think about.

for a simple arm google "MeArm".

I was thinking of a more forklift like contraption. I am unsure of how portable the mearm would be.

May be some thing like this, claws/grabbers and other parts are available from ebay and other online stores, control can be just directly in python or via hardware if you want.
