Small Pan/Tilt Servo?

Sat Mar 25, 2017 9:53 pm

Are there any pan/tilt servos that look like a "sandwich"? Pretty much i wanna just mount my pi's camera module on top of one and mount the bottom to another surface. I only want to be able to tilt the camera in any direction up to 30ish degrees but all the servos in question that i have found so far seem to be too large for my project and are designed with a much greater range of motion in mind.

Glue the side of a servo to one surface. Glue the horn of the servo to the camera.

These guys used 2 steppers and can be adapted using smaller DC or stepper motors as long as there is sufficient torque.

A proper thrust bearing might also help.

Not sure exactly what you want, but this is fairly small and the top servo can rotate back till flat with the base. The pi camera just fits nicely in the 'jaws'.
