Hello,
We recently developed a raspberry pi "hat" to pilot drones/cars/boats/etc via 3G cellular connection, in order to achieve "unlimited" control range.
The code is all open source and is available here: https://github.com/nfco/cellpilot

We are currently testing it using hand-soldered PCBs and 3d-printed cases.
Any feedback would be appreciated to guide the development of the project.

We also just started a campaign to fund the first production run and need your help to achieve the goal of the campaign.

Added a video of test flight this morning:

Anyone else interested in using Pi for FPV flying via cellular?

I can not wait to remote control via cellular network. I know many others have dreamed of this as well. But the problem has always been latency. How bad is it on this device?
And what all is needed to fly a diy drone with this device?
How is the drone controlled via the raspberry pi?
Will it work with rpi b+?
