stream video from Rpi(model B+)

hi all,

i am new member to Rpi family.
i am doing a home automation project using Rpi(model B+). i want to stream live video from USB camera attached to Rpi though andriod app.

i am not having any idea how to do that?

can any one suggest me what are the possible ways to do this project?

I am also looking for the same starting point. My board PI B2 has booted last night. Had a look at Scratch. Will have a look in the PI store what has been developed. I need a camera intreface. Looking what to get extra. Saw a GSM module (CELLv1.0) for the PI $100.
My plan is to firts get video on PI. Then to set up a server to access the PI remote.
