Hi,
I've bought a VCNL4000 board from Adafruit (https://www.adafruit.com/products/466). I've got it working with an Arduino Uno, but now I want to migrate to the Raspberry Pi (A B+, which will later be switched for an A+). How should I do this? I have followed a tutorial (https://www.openhomeautomation.net/prox ... pberry-pi/), but the test didn't work - presumably because it is outdated. I can follow the Adafruit tutorial for installing I2C (which I assume will be up-to-date) but I don't know where to go next from there. Is there something I can download to provide an instant working example, which I can then fiddle with to work for my project?
