Recommendations for external project box connectors

Sat Jul 24, 2021 10:04 am

Hi folks,
I am looking for recommendations of waterproof IP65 connectors to connect cables to an external project box containing RPis or picos. At the moment I am using gland through type connectors, but I would like a better solution where I can swap the cabled device without breaking the seal of the box. I will normally only need 4 pole connectors, but sometimes 6 pole. As I will be needing a lot of these, cost is an issue.

I have been using these:-

for the small number of connections I have, but at £16 per pair, that is getting expensive. Or am I expecting too much?

Cheers,

Michael

Here you are. Search SP16, or SP13 on AliExpress.

Or aviation connector. Or waterproof connector. Of the name of what you've been buying. Probably a "compatible" version is available cheaply.
