Alphasense B4 Sensor

Thu Oct 19, 2017 2:40 am

Alright so I am trying to connect the Alphasense Individual Sensor Board ( http://www.alphasense.com/WEB1213/wp-co ... 10/ISB.pdf) to the Raspberry PI.

The sensor I am using is the Alphasense B4 Nitric Oxide gas sensor ( http://www.alphasense.com/WEB1213/wp-co ... /NO-B4.pdf ). This is already installed on the board.

I honestly am not sure where to start with this project and Alphasense gives no help. I was hoping someone in this forum could help me out or point me in the right direction.

Thank you

That Sensor Board PDF doesn't have enough information to go on. It's got nothing on interfacing, so no wonder you're lost.

I know there is nothing about how to do it. I emailed them and they still gave me no information...

Doing a bit more reading, seems it's a potentiostat circuit. You'd need to rig up a very stable DC power supply and an analogue-digital converter to read the output. I think there's been one question about potentiostats on this forum since it started, and it got a "dunno, mate" response.
