Sun Jan 18, 2015 4:49 pm

I have a problem posting data to a server running on raspberry pi. I have installed apache and php server acording to the tutorial.
I have this server running on my pc. https://github.com/DFRobot/GPS-GPRS-GSM ... geoLocator
if i paste this link in my pc browser http://server_ip_pc/geo2_0.php?latitude=48.55074&longitude=14.29038 i get a data save and it works. But with that server on raspberry pi in get error saving data.
Can anybody help?

I want to run that server on my PI, with a sim800H for internet acces. Just like Adafruit fona thetered with raspberry pi.

Almost sounds like you don't have write permission to where the data is being saved. I know on a previous Linux web server I had only root had access to write to the tree holding the web pages. The account your web service is running under probably doesn't have write access. Try doing a chmod to the dir to get the new data.

Thank you for your response. I did try something like sudo chown www-data *.* inside the www folder, but no succes. Maybe i should move the www folder or some other way to give write permissions for posting, But i have no idea how to do it, so anything is appreciated. Thanks again.
