RDP to a MS Server

Fri Jun 01, 2012 2:37 pm

So I've successfully run a few RDP clients. I'm finding that the KDE rdp client works very smooth and fast but their configuration options are not that good.

I'm also looking for an RDP client that supports a RDP gateway.

Can someone share their experiences with RDP clients and what they think is the best.

I am not supper familiar with using the RDP gateway, but I have used rdesktop for the most of my Linux rdp connections and it seems very stable.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get rdesktop
# Or you can use a GUI version
sudo apt-get grdesktop

Currently there are no opensource rdp clients which support TS Gateway. iTap has a commercial offering for Linux which does but it is not available for arm.

FreeRDP is working TS Gateway support but this support actually requires implementation of several Microsoft protocols besides rdp, so it may be a little while before support is available.
