shared folders between raspberry+win7

Thu Jan 16, 2014 9:19 am

i would like to have a shared folder between raspberry and win 7.
i have created it by following the guide from http://www.unixmen.com/standalone-samba ... n-squeeze/
it works but i want to get rid of the passwd. it is only a private network 192.168.0.0/24 and i do have static IPs between them.
is there a way to get it done?

From what ive read, you basically just need to make it accessible to "guests" buy adding in "guest ok = yes"

i have tried that. i can see the shares without username/passwd but i am not allowed to add any files or alter them.
i have checked the read only = no.

any ideas?

its probably not a samba problem, you have to make sure the shares files have guest access

chmod 777 shareddirectory

Return to “Networking and servers”
