Transmission help

Mon Dec 02, 2013 2:19 am

I have tried setting up my pi so it can download torrents to a USB drive. However, the transmission web interface is giving me all sorts of errors like: "Not enough space", "incorrect file permissions" and other errors. Sometimes, it only downloads to the pi's SD card, not the USB drive. I have edited /etc/fstab so my drive mounts on start-up, but this dosen't work all the time and I can't change or take ownership of /media as the "pi" user because the root user has permissions to that.

try to re-assign/take ownership of the folder with sudo

(Sudo makes you root for a single command)

Return to “Networking and servers”
