Mumble Server: Control Channel (TCP) High Latency issue

Sat Apr 20, 2013 9:21 am

Hi
Im running mumble-server on a raspberry pi on my LAN network which runs raspbian.
The voice channel (UDP) is working awesome with 1ms or so delay, but the Control Channel (TCP) has a really high latency as show in the picture below, as a result switching between channels take ages.
Could use some help. Thnx

Found the issue.
SD wasnt fast enough for mumble SQLlite db
I just moved it to a ramdrive (used $mount -t tmpfs tmpfs /ramcache), and high latency was gone

Hi,

I have recently set up a mumble server on my raspberry pi but I get 10000+ ms on my control channel. (3ms on my voice channel even if I'm having trouble getting good sound quality)

I'm a total noob when handling linux.

Any idea that can help me? I have forwarded the correct port on my router.
