Hi there,

I have recently followed this tutorial.

http://my-music.mine.nu/images/rpi_rasp ... _setup.pdf

I am planning to use my Nexus10 as a remote/slave connection device on my home network.

FTP : I can connect to the my PI over WiFi or when when I have the Pi connected directly to my router.
connection details:
IP 192.168.220.194
Login : root
Password : ***********
My FTP client connects, but I am unable to copy files to /var/www

MySql:
I can connect to mssqladmin via chrome.
Using the same connection details on my android MySql client I get a connection error.

Can anyone offer any help?

Kind Regards
Andy

I had a similar problem when I was moving files to the same directory for my project.

i ended up changing the permissions on the folder, since im guessing you are using something like filezilla and logging in as root you cant really sudo from filezilla so in putty (or what ever ssh client you are using) try this

sudo chmod 777 -R /var/www

then move the files again, then you can play with permissions once you have it all setup

Thank you - This has allowed me to copy and save files to the /var/www directory.
