Setting up Raspberry Pi as a Mail server

Fri Mar 15, 2013 1:04 pm

Hi There,

I am looking for some advice on how to setup my Raspberry Pi as a mail server. I would like to connect it to my Broadband router and act as a web-mail repository. I would also like to be able to connect to it using pop mail so that I can sync mail to my phone and other mobile device.

Can any one help or point me at a relevant example post or project?

Regards
Andy

Hi,
This guide is pretty good
http://ducky-pond.com/posts/9

It will cover everything required to get you up and running. I have my phone connected to it with IMAP (push mail) rather than POP3, but that should be possible too if that's preferred.

Hello
Hello,

Sorry, for the off topic

Is there anyone who has a web interface for Postfix.
http://www.postfix.org/addon.html

There are several, but I can not get working.

I hope someone can help me. Further

Thank you.

Dylan
