A Raspberry Pi LEMP Guide.

Mon Jan 28, 2013 7:26 pm

I've been looking around this section a lot lately and notice a lot of people are using Apache to power a Raspberry Pi Web Server. I understand most people use Apache because they're used to it and might even not know of the Nginx software.

Nginx handles processes differently than Apache, and is a little better suited for the Raspberry Pi than Apache.

I've put together this guide in a matter of a few minutes to try and help you all setup a Web Server on the Raspberry Pi.

Things I assume: you've sorted out your sudoers file, your router is forwarding traffic, the domain you want to use is pointing to your home IP address and has the necessary A records and such.

I'll be updating this over the coming days to make it look a little neater and go over anything I've missed out, feel free to shoot me your tips too, so I can add them in.

The PDF file is located here.

P.S. no idea why the forum doesn't allow a PDF file, has as much chance of containing arbitrary code than a JPEG file  .
