Sabnzbd

Sun Jan 27, 2013 2:50 pm

Hello,

I successfully installed and configured Sabnzbd on my raspberry pi (running on 950mhz and 512mb version). I download on a connected usb hard drive mounted with Samba.

I only get a speed of 1Mbit downloading something. On my other computer I can download with speeds of 3Mbit on the same internetline. So where is the bottleneck? Can I improve settings so that the Raspberry Pi can handle more speed? I already unchecked SSL downloads.

Thank you !

Have a look in your logs, eg. /var/log/kern.log and /var/log/syslog - anything unusual there, such as stacktraces?

Try adding "smsc95xx.turbo_mode=N" to the end of cmdline.txt.

Any other test, settings to change ?
What is this bottleneck? The usb/ethernet chip?
