Pi Running Asterisk - Performance

Hi,
I have setup my Pi As a PABX server with FreePBX and Asterisk and it's all up and running and works with three simultaneous calls between it's extensions that I'm currently able to test.
However I would like to use Asterisk in a larger environment with around 50 extensions, with a few external trunks (using POTS)
Does anyone know the capabilities of the Pi in this regard? I.e. has anyone pushed the pi with Asterisk to its limit with regards to extensions and simultaneous calls before the call quality deteriorates or fails?
