I'm very new to this and also don't know if this is the correct place for my question. If not, I'm very sorry
My Pi 4 will arrive in one or 2 days and I would like to use it as server. (I'll install some things on it which I want to connect via the Pi's ip-address)
But I'm a bit scared about the security. I read quite a lot online but kind find my answers.
I understand that when I just forward port 80 of my router to port 80 of my Pi can cause security issues.
I read that a solution to this is to set the Pi as VPN server.
Is this enough security to make sure that my other devices (laptops, desktops, ..) that are connected to my LAN are not exposed to the whole internet?
