NAS Permissions Problem

Thu Feb 27, 2020 7:42 pm

Hi! I am currently using my raspberry pi 3B+ as an NAS and need a bit of help. Whenever I try and do something such as edit or try to add a file, it keeps saying I don't have permission. I haven't found any solution and need help.

Thanks.

Use

Code: Select all

ls -la /path/to/nas/folder
And check permissions

I assume you share via SMB (samba) and not NFS or one of the other protocols.

Please share your smb.conf for the specific share. We need to know the settings.
