Help with setting up VPN please

Sat Sep 28, 2019 3:12 pm

Hi I have a Pi4 with the latest Raspian Buster working really nicely,

I also have a subscription to Private Internet Access for VPN traffic.

But i am finding it hard to understand how I get my lovely new Pi to connect to the service.

I would like to use the wired Ethernet as the connection.

I have seen walkthroughs but they do look a little daunting.

Is there one i should be following?

Or is there a more simple client and VPN service?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

PiVPN is the easiest by far to use, but if you’re using it as a client then use OpenVPN, make sure you have the security files from your VPN provider .crt and .key files to be used by OpenVPN.

This should give you a general idea, it’s pretty reliable and safe.

Good luck

Hmm. Have some problems with installation too. In my case, I installed another VPN. I found an article about the best VPN for Chromebook https://webguidevpn.com/device/best-vpn-for-chromebook/
