Trying to get Unifi Controller to save autobackup to NFS share

Tue Sep 17, 2019 3:33 pm

It doesn't work for some reason. I have synology set up to "map all users to admin" for this share.
I can mount the NFS share and access it with the pi account.

Code: Select all

mount -t nfs synology.citybase.local:/volume1/rpi    /home/pi/rpi
I have an entry in /etc/fstab to remount on boot:

Code: Select all

synology.citybase.local:/volume1/rpi    /home/pi/rpi    nfs     defaults        0       0
I have no problems access this share with pi account.
I then added the autobackup.dir to system.properties of my Unifi Controller setup:

Code: Select all

autobackup.dir=/home/pi/rpi/unifi.autobackup
But Unifi doesn't see it. Is there a way to mount NFS with "allow_other" or some way to let all users see my mount? If anyone has done anything similar to this, please give me a hint.

I have worked this out on my own. Thanks for looking at my request.
