Pi Lab (My Raspberry Pi Cluster)

Mon Jul 01, 2019 1:45 am

I just wanted to share my current project.

https://pilab.dev

It is a Raspberry Pi 2 cluster running Bludit Flat File CMS.

I am using it as a way to learn new things and share them.

Thank you, m7

Hi
I have been reading and following your Pi lab posts and I find it fascinating
I have an HP Pavilion computer currently doing work around the clock for SETI@home.
I am totally hooked by the rasberry pi system and I'm thinking of building a 4 or 8 stack pi system.
I have a little experience with system building but nothing with programming.
I would have no problem building and assembling every thing but the configuration is where I would fall down.
Initially I would want to get configured to do the SETI@home work and go from there.
Your help would be greatly appreciated when I get around to all this.
Thank you in advance
Simon

So cool glad to hear that you are following my project. Thank you. I am not sure how much help I could be but I can share anything that I know and have learned along the way.

I have been doing some upgrades to Pi Lab. I have added 2 Pi 4 4GB nodes. I also have a Pi 3 B setup as a "Test Node". Going to eventually set it to use as the Load Balancer and repurpose the current Load Balancer to another web node.

The Pi 4s were getting really hot so I have setup a large cooling fan to keep everything nice a cool.

See specs here:
