I vote for the Edimax Technology Co., Ltd EW-7811Un 802.11n Wireless Adapter

Well known to work well and a lot of folks use them in the Raspberry Pis

I grabbed this one from Amazon.

It only took about a week to ship and it runs like a dream. I can connect to my router from across the house. Also, the drivers are pre-packaged in Raspbian and RaspBMC so setup is nil.

I got one off ebay for £4 including delivery which took two days, configured without a problem, can't go wrong at that price!
Apologies for all the stupid questions!
