Looking for dual-band n/ac 5GHz wifi usb dongle

Tue Mar 26, 2019 1:31 am

Hello community!

This is my first post on this forum, so if I misplaced this thread or if I didn't follow a specific rule, don't hesitate to point it out to me!

I currently only own a Netgear A6210 for a Windows PC, but it is incompatible with linux, therefore the raspberry pi detects it but cannot use it. (netheir can my linux os on my computer). There is a driver out there for linux but it's 3 years old and full of open issues.

I'm looking for a fast wifi dongle to use with my Pis, but I only find some n 300mbps and I would like to have something faster so I can repurpose it to a computer if needed.

Can anyone suggest a good usb dongle I can use with my Pi 3 that support 5GHz ac? Anyway since I would like to try a Flirc case, a usb antenna would be better for maximum range and speed.

Thanks to you all :P
