New Version online !
fixed some minor bugs in the startup of the apache2 demon
made an an full adminstrator (thedark) witch dos not need to sudo everything.
fully upgrade it to the latest known files
Now working on :
a boot screen more server like better than the coloured one.
this need to completely recompile the kernel this wil take a vieuw hours to complete.
please download the new version.
and tel me what you think of it.

NGINX or lighthttpd is much more suited for the RPI imho

I know that these demons a mutch less memory consuming but nuke evolution refuses to run on them.
Apache has some more options then lighttpd, and wordpress works wel on those 2. exept nuke...
mabe i am doing something wrong ....
but i wil try it ones more time
and wil see what i can do to run these 2 http demons. thats for a next release

Im so looking forward to try it.
A nice add-on (or maybe optional as not everyone needs it) would be a preset configuration of transmission-daemon + flexget to manage RSS and torrents.
I have been setting up a stripped "server" version of raspbian found online. It seems to work fine with an uptime of 10 days and an active rsync taking place for 4 days to an external USB HD (im using the 512 pi).
At the moment running:
- vsftpd
- lighttpd
- transmission-daemon
- few scripts from cron
- watch from my pc what was downloaded on the PI, straight from the PI
Of the above services only the last glitches sometimes.
I'm looking forward to try and test your version soon these days

You can make a try with rtorrent daemon, rutorrent as a web interface and nginx to run it. It works great on my server (the same kind than tonny's one but with few more services)

you can add all demons to one pi, but somewhere it is to go to overload on a 256 mb.
i could make a view more service to it but a torrent service is not running on a sdcard alone.
and my server has to run with no perriphals added to it, and straigt from a SD, and a dropbox.
mabe whe can do somthing with the dropbox, ill work on it.
