Tue Oct 16, 2018 2:53 am

i do not observe any problem connecting pi to hdmi, mouse and keyboard.

Code: Select all

ifconfig eth0 0

Code: Select all

dclient br0
or

Code: Select all

ip addr flush dev eth0

Code: Select all

ip addr add 192.xxx.xxx.5/24 dev br0

ip link set br0 up
ssh or vnc work fine but eth0 0 force me to disconnect the pi from wall socket.

"ssh or vnc work fine but eth0 0 force me to disconnect the pi from wall socket."
????
Good way to corrupt your SD!

Can you get to / activate "terminal"? Use "sudo reboot / shutdown" .
Can you use hardware "reset" instead?

Better yet - describe the "hang" AND let's fix the issue first.

Actually am running a mesh topology on raspberrys and all the interface interconnected to other raspberrypi i.e eth0, eth1, eth2, eth3, eth4 using usb ethernet adapter. the only way i can i start up an ovs is to ssh into pi eth0. although hang and frozen of the pi persist where Crt C dont even work. i tried other several option sudo ifconfig br0 10.42.0.22 netmask 255.255.255.0 up. still frozen. is there any method available to start up all the interfaces without hanging
