My RPI cause interfere other wifi clients

Mon Jun 18, 2018 8:10 am

Hi, i'm facing a strange problem reported by different customers using our product which is based on rpi3.
Connecting the rpi3 using LAN cable cause a wifi problem and other devices that are connected to the wifi to get a lot of disconnection problems.
Disconnecting the RPI solves the problem.
I even don't have any idea what can be the problem.
Any ideas?

... does it still interfere if you put the pi in a tin box? Is the pi configured to act as a WiFi access point?

A metal box. (Acts as an RF screen.)

No, it's in a plastic box.

I must mention that not hotspot, not wifi is enabled in our RPI but still it interfere the other connected devices via WIFI (in the same network)

what do you mean by interference? try to switch off the onboard Wifi may solve the issue? try to also put the Pi in a metal container to act like a Faraday cage.
