In this article, I have used a Raspberry Pi, a 5 Watt Solar Panel and backup power to create a Research Paper to connect two remote villages to Reduce Digital Divide. Raspberry Pi is cool stuff. Love it.

I note the battery only lasts 5 hours, does this mean it shuts down every night ?

Would a Pi B+ be better than a Pi B be better for consumption ?

Yes it does turn off. Its a small prototype. Hope to make it better since the New Pi are out.
