While I understand the wish to have a repository for owncloud I would still recommend downloading the newest version yourself. The version in Debian Jessie is v7.0.4 ( I'm assuming the Raspbian Jessie version is the same ) but the newest from the webpage is V9.0.2, that is potentially a lot of changes and bugfixes.

hello topguy

first thanx for your help. the second point i would like to have advices about is the external hardrive. how to mention it under owncloud ? people told me about this hard driven, better than flash devices and giving me more go size (i already have it in fact)

thanx a lot yet

stéphane

Its normally very easy to use an external usb-harddrive. It may not be completely plug-and-play but easy enough.
