Hi guys, I'm totally newbie about this.
I would like to make a wireless sensor network (star topology: one server receiving data from several remote sensors).
Using 2,4GHz there wouldn't be troubles but I'm working in mountain area with no line-of sight, so I supposed to use 866MHz devices for long-range (up to 4 km) using low power, low speed devices.
For remote devices I'm planning to use Pi-zero.
But for.... transceivers?
If I've correctly understood, XBee (in 866MHz version) are low power modules working using serial line, able to create star topology.
Ok, that's looks great.
My only doubt is this: if a remote sensor is too far away from central server, can I use another remote sensor to re-route packets to the central server?
Or for this should I use different model/module?
