Incron, Inotify Raspberry pi

Hello
I want to implement a small application on raspberry pi. I have several wireless sensor nodes which will be connected to different raspberry pi´s. I want to program these wireless sensor nodes remotely. The program that i want to burn will be sent to raspberry pi via some ftp client .I want to burn that program to the sensor node which will be attached to raspberry pi via usb. I read about incron and inotify but did not found a solution.
