DVD BR Ripping

Tue Feb 10, 2015 4:52 am

Hi,
I am new to using the Raspberry Pi. So far I like it, I am using ripped DVD files I created for my son's Samsung tablet to view on the Raspberry Pi.

My goal is simple, build a Media center with no loss (or little loss) of video or sound quality. What software should I use to rip DVDs BR to get the best of quality? Disk space is not an issue.

I would rather use Windows as my ripping platform, unless there is a free product for Linux (I am a bit cheap too).

thanks
Phil J

My apologies for locking this thread, but DVD ripping is considered to be illegal in many countries and as such we do not allow the solicitation for help nor the posting of instruction on DVD ripping.

If I were a betting man, however, I would guess that a google search of dvd ripping linux would return ample support to help you do whatever you wanted with your own property.
Dear forum: Play nice ;-)
