Retropie Controller not working

Sun Jun 09, 2019 7:02 am

Hi all,

I have converted my old defective NES to a rpi and I would like to keep its original looks. For the controllers I bought 2 Retro-Bit NES-adapter.

Ofcourse, they do not work properly in retropie. I am not sure where to start. But what I did was:

Installed latest version of retropie. Installed these https://github.com/msteinbeck/hid-retrobit drivers and checked if there was any input using jstest /dev/input/js0

The controllers work, I can see input when pushing the controllerbuttons, but retropie does not detect the controllers unfortunatly. I have not re-compiled my kernel as some other guideles tell me, nor have I found a solution to my problem.
