Audio from USB Card

Wed May 29, 2019 12:31 pm

Hi there,
I am using a USB speaker to output the audio of Raspberry 3B+. The sound is perfect, but how can I figure out the audio quality which comes from the speaker. For example, I use a music player to play a track whose sample is 192kHz and bit rate is 24bit, how can I know if the output audio quality is as the same as the input source?

Try with this command

Code: Select all

cat /proc/asound/card1/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params
You will need to find your card number and have the stream playing.
