Sounds strange

Hi,
today I had some very strange sound problems I like to let you know. My first RPi played some very strange sounds, like in the past without the firmware fixes. I then tried a lot of things, like updating FW, change cable and such things, nothing helped.

So I pushed the sd-card in a second RPi and the sound was nice, so I tried my third and the sound was nice again. The forth was also nice. So I went back to the first and, without changing anything sound is also nice!

I used revision one and two boards all with 256 MB RAM. I played with SqueezeSlave and SqueezeLite as a player and LMS as server!

Has someone seen something like this?

maybe something like the auto update was chewing CPU the first time around?
