Configuring Kodi through VNC - Not Displayed

Fri Jun 01, 2018 7:33 am

Hi Folks,

I have been trying to get Kodi running on my raspberry Pi, to use as a home entertainment system.

Currently running Stretch, and installed Kodi but it doesnt show via VNC. I understand this is to do with the method of virtualising the display which otherwise couldnt be captured via VNC as it uses a different API?

I was reading this thread :viewtopic.php?f=67&t=49707&sid=d3a8d752 ... 5&start=50 - I tried installing the libvncserver but have no idea how to use it!

Can anyone help?

Unfortunately, I have tried that, and it doesnt seem to work right, it seems to kill any interactivity, and turns VNC into a monitor only lol
