Wire arcade buttons to breadboard

Sat Apr 28, 2018 1:24 am

Hi guys. I'm building a little media player for a small non profit event this summer. I'm using a pi 3 b+ and looking to use three buttons for play/pause, skip forward and skip back. Once tested using some small push buttons on the breadboard I'm looking to build a housing case for it all with some bigger arcade style buttons. No LED. My question is how do I wire the arcade buttons directly to my breadboard? I've looked at the modmypi and adafruit quick connect cables but these wire directly to the raspberrys gpio pins. I'd like to keep using the breadboard.
Thanks ✌🏽

In this case, there is no critical difference between a wire from RPi to button and one wire from RPi to breadboard plus another wire from the same row on the breadboard to the button.
