listen to my music from NAS Synology

Fri Dec 22, 2017 2:32 pm

Hello
I have receiver, an ethernet plug and a NAS with all my music accessible on the network.
I would like to have a screen where I can select the music and play it.
What do I need please?

I would like this aswell.

I have a RP3B new out of the box set up and running(using it here to write this) and I have several Synology NAS drives in the house. I am a bit of a MS fanboy so have no problem getting the NAS to work with Windows machines.

I have tried several different sets of instructions online but all fail when it comes to reboot the RP3 it hangs up on the boot phase.

All I want is a folder on the Desktop mapped to my Synology NAS folder with my music. I can then use VLC player and my HiFiberry hat to listen to my music.
My other computer is a VIC20.

all you need to solve the requirements,
is found at runeaudio volumio or moode
try them all to see what type works best for your taste,
they are a little bit different in look and feel, but basicly they are all a super nice and easy to use music player,
sound media centre, if am super happy for playing with this.
