Update to Kodi 17 - deb command not found

Wed Oct 11, 2017 12:43 pm

Hi all,
I am a beginner with Rasbian and I try to update Kodi.

In the terminal, I already ran successfully

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
However, I have an issue with

Code: Select all

 deb http://pipplware.pplware.pt/pipplware/dists/jessie/main/binary /
as terminal says deb: command not found.

Reading some forum, it says that I should use a text editor. I know there is OpenOffice in but it will not execute the line as terminal would. So, I am bit confuse here. How can I execute this line using terminal?

Thanks

nano is the text editor. When you type sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list it should pull in the file and you can add that line on the end.
