no talloc stackframe around, leaking memory on XBMC

Tue Sep 25, 2012 8:09 pm

I've been starting XBMC over SSH on Raspbian, streaming videos over SMB. The first time that I play a video after restarting, a message usually appears on the SSH console saying no talloc stackframe around, leaking memory. This also happens if I start it from the Raspberry pi itself, but the message is on the console so I can't see it until I quit XBMC. This has happened both on XBian and Raspbian. I don't know if it's a problem or if I can just ignore it. Does anyone know what it means?

Looks like there might be a solution: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8449#c1
