Bluetooth devices disconnecting randomly on Libreelec

Sat Sep 17, 2016 4:13 pm

Both my bluetooth earphones and speaker keep "disconnecting" randomly on Libreelec. It usually works for half an hour, then suddenly the audio will stop being played through my bluetooth devices.

In the settings page it still shows it is connected, and basically the options (disconnect, refresh, etc) in the page won't do anything when clicked.

Rebooting will fix the problem temporarily, and it will come back again shortly.

Anyone faced this problem?

What hardware are you using?
What software are you using?
What BT software are you using,
What BT dongle are you using?

I get this with my duel BT/Wifi dongle in Kodi.

Happens on both Librelec and Openelec, no dongle, just the on board bluetooth connected through the settings menu

Yes, same story here. Tried both OpenELEC and LibreELEC on a RPi 3 without any luck.
Have tried to disable the "on board BT" and go thru a USB attached BT, still same issue.
Don't know what to look for so I'm open for suggestions how to tackle this issue.
