Couldn't hide my excitement over this working tonight! I received my Adafruit 2" LCD TV today. I was worried that GPIO 5v pin wouldn't be able to deliver enough amperage to drive the display but I was wrong. I have the Raspberry Pi powered via Micro USB, and then the display connected to pins 2 and 6 on the board.
The display is incredibly sharp and bright. I'm thinking of hooking up some batteries and making a portable arcade console, or just making a scale model bartop arcade machine with it
