So here is my dilemma
I have a pi 2
getting a poe ethernet camera
What I don't want is a router in the middle
This is for a boat ..... my friend wants to mount a movable camera to hi boat and display the image on a tv
so my though is use kodi as the media center
use open wrt to give the poe network camera (which will plug into back of pie feed into a 12v single injector to the camera) a ip address and point the pi at it for video....
Is there a way to run kodi and a routing program or manually assign the ip address through kodi
