RPi support in libCEC

Mon Jul 09, 2012 10:22 am

I saw a moment ago that opdenkamp pushed some changes to libCEC involving the RPi. I don't know if it already works, but compiling should be not too hard I guess.

This commit holds the changes:
https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec/c ... fe2aa58135

And it can be found in this tree for the moment: https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec/t ... fe2aa58135

I had trouble checking out that certain commit using git, but you can download a ZIP with the RPi changes commited: https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec/z ... fe2aa58135

BTW, it is marked by opdenkamp as 'work in progress'

Yes, it won't work until we push out updated start.elf and /opt/vc/lib.
And that won't happen until opdenkamp / rpi_newbie get it working.
At least they are both actively working on it, so it shouldn't be long now.
