Tue May 04, 2021 4:16 pm

Hi all,
I'm running docker + plex on a rpi 2B.

I want to try to compile myself ffmpeg to have the "best" binary for this small board.

Do you have any link/guide to help me?

I do not understand how you can run Docker and Plex without an Operating System installed ??

What are you hoping to achieve ??
The information is out there....you just have to let it in.

I'm using OMV, why you say I'm not running an OS?

I want to self compile ffmpeg to have "the best ffmpeg binary" for my platform, to try to squeeze more speed while Plex Media Server transcodes videos.

I know that rpi2 is really a cheap/slow board for this purpose but I want to learn how to self compile stuff in the meantime :)

Re-read your first post, no where does it state you are running OMV :?

Sorry, my focus was about "raspberry compile flags".
You link is a guide for a generic Ubuntu distro :)
