I tried it a couple of times as part of my code club. I needed to spend more time getting familiar with it myself before I try it again.

One thing I did realise is that I need an app or a means of shutting down the raspberry pi from the coder interface. Otherwise to perform a clean shutdown we had to connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor to the raspberry pi.

As we now have several PI's at school what I would like to do next term is have them stored in the technicians office and connected into the school network all running off of one power switch. So at the start of the club we throw one switch and they all boot up. Students then log into them from any school computer and at the end we can switch them off remotely.

I know we could do this if we installed ssh or tightvnc onto every PC but this would then require another log in.

Hope this helps,
